This method of data storage significantly improves the technical performance and thus the response time of every process such as position valuation, corporate action and report processing. A significant increase in efficiency in the daily business is reached through the vastly extendable central master database and its capacities: data fields that are being added will immediately be accessible for further use in all XENTIS modules. The same is valid for business rules, workflows and key ratios. They can easily be configured and be used instantly throughout the system.

This was achieved by strictly separating configurable system components from the standard product. Therefore, changes to the configuration of business rules, workflows and key ratios can be performed at any time, regardless of the release cycle. Profidata has been developing software since 1985. Development work on XENTIS began in 2001 on the basis of many years' experience with a predecessor system.
